When a bride walks the aisle, it is an AWW moment not just for the guests but for the groom as well. After all, nothing can compete the beauty of the bride in her wedding dress. Groom too looks dapper and elegant but it is the bride who manages to grab most of the eye balls. However, the groom does not seem to mind it.
Whether it is the groom or the bride, shopping for just the right wedding dress involves lots of choices and confusion. When it comes to the colour of the wedding dress, the most common pick is red. As per Indian traditions, red is considered to be the colour of love, commitment, strength and bravery and hence bridal lehenga-sarees are often red in colour. Not just for the bridal dress, red colour is also very popular for the groom’s attire, wedding decorations etc. Why shouldn’t it be? After all it is auspicious as well as attractive.
Ivory colour has always been the first choice of grooms as it makes them look both stylish and smart. However, over the years, this colour has occupied quite a permanent place in the bridal lehengas as well. Ivory colour when contrasted with other colours such as beige, maroon or other vibrant colours makes both the bride as well as the groom look simply amazing.
When it comes to grooms, colour choices are often limited. But this is not the case with brides. Apart from ivory and red colour, brides can also give a try to green colour. This colour symbolises beginning of a new chapter in the lives of bride and groom. Moreover, green can blend with any other colour and reflect positivity.
For the wedding day, nothing can beat the elegance of the traditional look. Also, you do not get to wear a desi outfit every now and then, especially men. So dear men, why to opt for wearing suit for your wedding day. However, for your reception a blue or black suit with a matching bow or tie can give you dapper yet stylish look.
Bride and groom are surely the most important people in a wedding. After all, it is their wedding. But their friends and siblings cannot be ignored. They also leave no stone unturned in dressing gorgeously especially when they are single. No one knows, when someone’s heartbeat will stop looking at them.
At the end, one thing that can be said about an Indian wedding is that it is not simply a wedding but a huge celebration that lasts almost for a week. There are lots of rituals like mehendi, haldi, sangeet etc. and all of these rituals are performed with great joy and excitement. It is surely a big in a bride and groom's life but enormous amount of happiness can be observed on the faces of their friends and relatives as well.
Wedding surely brings two hearts together that beats as one. But not to forget, it also brings two families together.

Muslim Wedding
So am I Muslim wedding photographer, not yet :) but I have had the opportunity to shoot more Muslim weddings than my peers, Muslim weddings are always close to my heart, one main reason is since I was born and brought up in Thousand lights which are surrounded by mosques, naturally, I had an affinity towards the tradition and the religious practices. Coming back to the Muslim weddings, they are one of the most colorful and elaborate weddings that happen in India, similar to a Brahmin wedding, Muslim weddings are done anywhere from 3 to 8 depending on the customs that are followed by the family, here I'm presenting some of the best Muslim weddings photographs from my collection
We have had one of the best times in covering muslim weddings, a typical muslim weddings is much like a traditional brahmin weddings, which happens for three days and strictly on the instructions in the Holy Quran. Muslim Weddings are highly colourful and there is always scope for fine art moments
